Victoria’s Secret
Lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret has appointed Hillary Super as chief executive officer and member of the board, effective Sept. 9. Super succeeds Martin Waters in both roles, who became CEO in 2021. Timothy “TJ” Johnson, VS&Co’s chief financial and administrative officer, will serve as interim CEO until Sept. 8. Waters will remain employed as an advisor to the company through Aug. 31 to support a smooth transition.
Super brings nearly three decades of retail merchant expertise with a track record of leading brands. She has experience with omnichannel brands spanning intimates, apparel, accessories, beauty and home. Super most recently served as CEO of intimates and accessories brand Savage X Fenty. Previously, she was the global CEO of Anthropologie.

Target
American retail corporation Target has named Amy Tu as chief legal and compliance officer and corporate secretary, effective Aug. 25. In this role, Tu will lead the company’s legal, compliance and corporate governance functions. She succeeds Don Liu, who announced his retirement in January and will transition to a strategic advisory role. Tu started her career in retail with senior legal roles at companies such as Walmart and the Gap. She also held numerous leadership positions at Boeing.

Soles4Souls
Nonprofit relief organization Soles4Souls has named Joe Njoroge as its next chief financial officer. He replaces Robert Adams-Ghee, who passed away in March after a sudden illness. Njoroge most recently served as chief finance and administration officer at Climate Central, a nonprofit that conducts research and reports on climate change. Before that, he served as CFO for the American Friends Service Committee, leading global efforts in financial systems deployment, training and compliance, as well as handling union negotiations.
